Background
The petrochemical enterprise is mainly engaged in the production of pure terephthalic acid. The industrial wastewater produced by the enterprise in the production process is complex in composition, the enterprise has its sewage treatment process, the original advanced treatment system belongs to the MBR membrane bioreactor, and the system is selected from Japanese Mitsubishi membrane products, but due to the serious membrane fouling during operation, the decline in water production, the attenuation of membrane flux and other reasons, the membrane system needs to be updated.

Achievements
According to customer needs, the original Mitsubishi membrane system was seamlessly replaced, and part of the project water was used for reverse osmosis reuse, and part of it was discharged. The project was put into operation in April 2018. Treat all kinds of wastewater generated in the production process, reduce pollutant emissions, protect the environment, and save water resources.
