Slufri® SMU Series MBR Membrane Products
Shuiyi Slufri® SMU MBR membrane series utilizes a low-pressure, high-flux PVDF hollow-fiber composite membrane with hot-melt adhesive automated sheet placement. The membrane module integrates a pulse aeration system, delivering advantages such as high operational flux, stable permeate quality, strong anti-fouling capability, extended lifespan, and low energy consumption. Compared to conventional MBR membranes, it achieves an air-to-water ratio as low as 3:1, reducing energy consumption by over 40%. The product is widely applicable in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications.
Description
- Uniform pore size, increasing flux
The membrane fibers have an average pore size of 0.03 um,with uniform pore distribution and high porosity, offering strong anti-fouling performance and an operating flux 40% higher than industry-leading products. - High-strength material, durable and long-lasting
The membrane fibers have a tensile strength >200N and peel strength > 3N, ensuring resistance to breakage and peeling. Combined with excellent anti-fouling performance, this extends the service life to 5-10 years. - Pulse aeration: energy saving and cost reduction
Equipped with Shuiyi’s ESP high-efficiency, energy-saving large-bubble pulse aeration technology, it reduces aeration volume by 40% compared to industry standards, with air-to-water ratios achievable below 3:1. Cleaning cycles extend to 1.5-2 years,significantly lowering energy consumption and operational costs. - Backwash-free design, enhanced performance
Supports backwash-free operation,improving water production efficiency and output while achieving energy savings and reduced consumption. - Neatly packaged, anti-fouling and enhanced efficiency
Utilizing automated hot-melt adhesive membrane sheet arrangement technology, membrane fibers are uniformly spaced and neatly arranged. This prevents sludge accumulation, reduces cleaning frequency, and improves water production efficiency.

(1) Pore size is tested according to GB/T38949-2020 Determination of Pore Size for Porous Membranes Standard Particle Method;
(2) Operational and backwash fluxes depend on the overall system operation and maintenance;
(3) Aeration intensity is calculated based on the upward-facing projected area of the membrane modules;
(4) During cleaning under standard conditions at 30°C;
(5) Produced water quality metrics may slightly vary depending on the inlet water quality.
The data presented herein are derived from specific tests and are true and reliable. However, differences may exist between test conditions and actual application environments, so actual results may vary. It is recommended that users verify and adjust according to their specific operating conditions and assume relevant responsibilities themselves.
Applications
The Shuiyi Slufri® series MBR membrane products offer a series of advantages including simple sewage treatment processes, small footprint, excellent shock load resistance, and stable water quality and quantity. They not only achieve solid-liquid separation but also prevent the common problem of suspended solids leakage seen in traditional sedimentation separation processes,ensuring high-quality effluent.Widely used in various water treatment fields including municipal sewage, textile dyeing wastewater, basic chemical wastewater, mine water, steel wastewater, PCB electroplating wastewater, power water, and semiconductor water.
