SHUIYI made a strong impact at INDO WATER 2026, held from August 11 to 13 at the Jakarta International Expo. As Indonesia’s largest water treatment industry event, the exhibition brought together 620 water industry companies from around the world and 16,000 professional visitors to exchange insights on water management, water treatment and sustainable technologies. The event received joint support from Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Industry and other government authorities.
Leveraging its proprietary membrane material technologies and extensive project experience, SHUIYI Membrane showcased its proven applications and customized solutions for municipal wastewater, industrial wastewater, water reuse and other sectors in the Southeast Asian market. The booth attracted numerous international visitors who stopped by for discussions and business exchanges.
Advanced SHUIYI Membrane Products Make a Strong Debut in Indonesia:
In response to the urgent needs for water pollution control and water reuse in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia, the SHUIYI Membrane team engaged in in-depth discussions with partners and end users from Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and other countries. The discussions focused on the latest trends in water treatment technology and innovative applications, with the participants reaching consensus on several key areas for future collaboration and development.

At this exhibition, three product series stood out among SHUIYI Membrane’s core portfolio for overseas markets:
1、Resalt® Series RO Membrane for Water Reuse
SHUIYI’s FR Series RO membrane incorporates the new Cyclean 3.0 anti-fouling technology, offering enhanced fouling resistance to effectively extend membrane service life and ensure stable long-term operation. With a stable 99.6% salt rejection, the membranes achieve over 10% higher cleaning recovery while reducing cleaning frequency by 30%.
2、Slufri®Series MBR Membrane
SHUIYI’s fifth-generation Slufri® series MBR membrane delivers an operating flux of 25-35 LMH, representing an increase of over 40% compared with the previous generation, significantly reducing capital and operating costs. The membrane fiber features high-peel-strength coating technology, preventing delamination and fiber breakage while ensuring reliable performance under harsh MBR operating conditions. With advantages including seamless replacement of comparable products, compact footprint and stable permeate quality and flow, it is highly favored by engineering companies and end users.
3、TIPS Series Ultrafiltration Membrane
SHUIYI’s TIPS ultrafiltration membrane is manufactured using a thermally induced phase separation (TIPS) process, delivering a pure water flux of 1,500-2,500 LMH, over 100% higher than that of conventional NIPS membrane. This enables a 30% reduction in membrane area, lowering both civil construction and lifecycle costs. The membrane fiber resists strongly acidic and alkaline conditions across a pH range of 1-14, with over 30% higher mechanical strength and a service life twice that of conventional membranes, while significantly reducing the risk of fiber breakage.
Permanent hydrophilic modification provides excellent anti-fouling performance, while combined air-water backwashing effectively restores membrane performance. With slower flux decline and lower operation and maintenance costs, it is well suited to a wide range of challenging feedwater conditions.
Let the World See China’s “Membrane Magic”
In China, from municipal wastewater upgrading and capacity expansion to wastewater resource recovery and reuse, and from boiler feedwater treatment for power plants and petrochemical facilities, to pharmaceutical material separation and concentration, and semiconductor ultrapure water production – SHUIYI Membrane has proven the robust capabilities of China’s membrane technology through one successful project after another.
Overseas, SHUIYI Membrane has established stable business partnerships in countries including Thailand and Vietnam, with multiple water treatment projects successfully implemented. For example, the 20,000 m³/d textile wastewater reuse project in Vietnam effectively solved the challenges of high-difficulty industrial wastewater treatment while enabling efficient water recycling and reuse.
In addition, an MBR wastewater treatment project in Thailand has been successfully commissioned and put into operation, using SHUIYI’s Slufri ® Series MBR membrane products. The system has delivered stable treatment performance and received high recognition from the customer.

This Indo Water Exhibition marks another solid step forward in SHUIYI Membrane’s accelerated global expansion. The three-day exhibition has come to a successful close, but SHUIYI’s journey in the Indonesian market is only just beginning. Looking ahead, SHUIYI Membrane will continue to place technological innovation at the core of its development, delivering more efficient, energy-saving and reliable Chinese membrane-based water treatment solutions for Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian market.
